• pound of turkey sausage
  • 1 can pinto beans, drained
  • 1 can white beans, drained
  • 1 can lima beans, drained
  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 1 lg. can of baked beans
  • 1 sm. can of tomato sauce
  • 1 lg onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2T mustard
  • red pepper flakes
  • a dash liquid smoke

Ahh the slow cooker! The Lap-Bandsters best friend!!

Cooked low and slow and soft and easy to eat!

Start by browning a pound of turkey sausage (try spicy sausage if you like)

 

Add the following:

1 can pinto beans, drained
1 can white beans, drained
1 can lima beans, drained
1 can black beans, drained
1 lg. can of baked beans
1 sm. can of tomato sauce
1 lg onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2T mustard
red pepper flakes
a dash liquid smoke

with the browned sausage into a pan, mix well and cook at 325 degrees for about an hour.

Drop it all into the Slow cooker for 8 hours and easily server a party of 10 at under 300 calories per serving!!
